Like thus were the righteous ~ Al Kufr bi Taghut (rejecting the false deities)

This khutba deals with the importance of rejecting the false deities as this is one of the major steps in drawing closer to Allah. Rejecting in the false deities is one of the major characteristics of the righteous and ones testimony of faith is not valid except by fully understanding this requirement and implementing it.

In an era where democracy and communism and other man-made systems govern Muslim lands and where grave worshipping is all too common, the obligation of rejecting the false deities must be understood and clarified in the minds of the masses.

It’s the righteous who have singled Allah out in worship by recognising that all other deities have no right to be worshipped and this is the religion of Ibrahim and all the messengers, may Allah send his peace and blessings upon them, and this is fundamental message that they propagated.
